Our client is a well established fresh produce supplier currently offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced quality professional.

As a Technical Manager you will:

• Carry out inspection of incoming product in accordance with set processes and procedures
• Ensure customer requirements as per agreed specification are maintained including updating customer portals
• Oversee clear and effective communication with customers and the wider business
• Undertake and report results of Shelf Life Assessment
• Promote a Food Safety Culture within the team demonstrating a commitment to meeting and exceeding BRC standards.
• Ensure compliance and assist with audits.
• Resolve and action issues quickly and efficiently
• Attend weekly Managers meeting and cascade KPI’s
• Oversee internal and external calibration of equipment
• Promote a safety culture throughout the site attend regular health and safety meetings
• Report all inspections clearly, accurately, in-line with specification and on time.

About You

For this role, we’re looking for someone who has:

• Minimum of 1 year experience of Quality Assurance
• Minimum 2 year experience of fresh food
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to develop a knowledge, passion and understanding of Fresh Produce
• Resilient and ability to keep calm when working under pressure
• Hold a Full U.K. driving licence
• Ability to challenge effectively
