Our client is a food production company based near Redditch, currently offering an exciting opportunity for a NPD Technologist to join their friendly development team.
Main responsibilities of the position include :
Control and document NPD activities including factory trials and shelf-life testing
Assist with the management and review of recipes.
Develop and formulate product recipes in accordance with customer specifications.
Undertake cost and functional engineering projects on existing recipes.
Conduct taste panel assessments.
Evaluation of raw materials.
Successful candidates will need to have :
A degree in a food / technical related subject
1 – 2 years experience in a NPD Department.
Knowledge of food ingredients and / or a keen interest in food.
Attention to detail
Good numeracy and literacy skills
Good accuracy and organisational skills
Hours, pay and benefits
Monday to Thursday 8.15am – 5.15pm and Friday 8.15am – 3.30pm.
